Three doctors who found chiropractic the honest way — as patients first — and built a Johnson City practice around a simple mission: love God, serve people, promote health.
All three walked in as patients first.
Dr. Michael Bryan
Founding Chiropractor · Doctor of Chiropractic
The oldest of four kids from Fyffe, Alabama, Dr. Bryan was a high school football player until an injury during practice took him off the field and landed him in a chiropractic office. He fell in love with chiropractic that day.
He earned a bachelor's degree in biology and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University — the largest chiropractic university in the world — where he also led the largest student organization on campus, focused on weekly mentoring. He completed his internship at one of the largest chiropractic offices in the United States, and carries additional training in prenatal, infant, and pediatric care.
He met his wife SaraLynn at Life University, and the two have served together through church mission trips and connection groups. Integral Wellness Co. is the practice he built to bring that same service-first mindset to Johnson City.
Dr. Kevin Britt
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Britt grew up athletic in Abington, Pennsylvania — until back spasms sidelined him at age twelve and his parents brought him to a chiropractor. What kept him in the profession were the stories he heard in that office: patients whose migraines, chronic pain, and digestive and immune challenges improved under care.
He earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State University, then graduated with honors from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2011. He joined Integral Wellness Co. in 2022, bringing more than a decade of clinical experience to the Tri-Cities.
Dr. Joshua Smith
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Josh grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska, the son of a pastor, playing piano and trombone and planning a future in church ministry and music — he earned his bachelor's degree in Religious Education with a minor in Music. A back injury changed that path. Years of ongoing back pain led a roommate to introduce him to chiropractic care, and the experience stayed with him.
Feeling called by the Lord to become a chiropractor, he and his wife left Alaska for Marietta, Georgia, where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University. After years of serving patients in Florida, the Smiths moved to the mountains of East Tennessee in 2026, and Dr. Josh joined Integral Wellness Co.
