Ask away. Everyone does.

The questions we hear most from new patients in Johnson City — answered straight, before you ever walk in the door.

Getting started

I've never been to a chiropractor before. What should I expect?

Education and comfort come first. We walk you through every diagnostic step, explain how adjustments support your overall health, and review your findings together at a second visit — the Doctor's Report. You'll never be adjusted before you understand why.

How long will my first visit take?

The first visit lasts approximately 60 minutes.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Your insurance card, your driver's license, and any current X-rays or MRIs. Intake forms are available online, so you can complete them ahead of time and save a few minutes in the office.

I have X-rays or an MRI. Should I bring them?

Yes — feel free to bring any information you believe could help us understand your health concerns better.

I'm in pain. Can I get adjusted today?

On rare occasions, yes. Most of the time, though, we complete a proper diagnostic process and case history before any treatment, because adjusting a spine we haven't assessed isn't safe care. It's a short wait for a much better result.

How do I find the best chiropractor near me?

Look at reviews, look for a practice that explains its technique, and ask whether they treat your specific issue and accept your insurance. If you're searching in Johnson City or anywhere in the Tri-Cities, come meet us — we'll happily be part of your comparison shopping.

Care & technique

How do you adjust?

Our doctors use the Torque Release Technique with a handheld instrument called the Integrator — gentle, specific adjustments with no twisting, cracking, or popping of the neck or spine.

What type of diagnostics do you use?

State-of-the-art scanning technology that shows us how your nervous system is functioning, plus muscle assessment technology. Objective data, not guesswork.

Will I need X-rays taken?

It depends on your case. When needed, we use motion study X-rays — taken with you in different positions — to understand your spinal structure and how long an underlying issue has been developing. Our rule: to see is to know, and not to see is to guess. Digital radiography is available on-site.

What is the Doctor's Report?

Your second visit. We explain how neurologically-based chiropractic care works, review your diagnostic findings together, answer every question you have, and — if you're ready — deliver your first adjustment.

When will I feel better?

It varies by person and case. Each adjustment builds on top of the previous one — consistency is key for results. We run periodic re-assessments throughout care so your progress shows up in the scans, not just in how you feel that day.

How many visits will I need?

We'll tell you after your diagnostics and health history are complete — it's laid out clearly at your Doctor's Report appointment, along with the reasoning behind it.

Cost & insurance

How much will each adjustment cost?

Every person and case is different. We first complete a thorough diagnostic process and full case history, then identify how much care you actually need — and what it will cost — before you commit to anything.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We're in network with most major insurance companies, and we run a complimentary benefits check at your first appointment so there are no billing surprises.

What are your office hours?

Monday and Thursday 10–1 and 3–6, Tuesday 3–6, Wednesday 10–1. Closed Friday through Sunday. Find us at 3101 Browns Mill Rd #16 in Johnson City — full details on the contact page.
